I was very impressed with this panel. It can deliver the 12 watts that it says it can! I measured a closed circuit current of .9 amps, more than specified! Charges my iPod at .550 amps on a sunny day directly. No battery needed! So long as no shade hits it, it delivers. I'm getting a second one with a battery charging system to power a desk lamp in my dorm room in the evenings. -- Back for Seconds!
Exactly what is advertised. I hooked 2 of these in parrarel through a Brunton controller to a 275 watt lawn tractor battery and a 400 watt inverter to run my outside lighting at night. Works like a charm. -- Good Panels
I purchased this product because of the good reviews. I am very pleased with its performance. Living in Washington State without much sun, it does very well. I use it as a trickle charger for battery back-up to my Ham Radios. When the sun is bright and directly on the panel is when the panel works the best of course. It is well made and easy to install or to mount. I plan to purchase a larger panel to charge faster on cloudy days. If you want a panel to maintain a battery or two this works fine. -- I love this little solar panel.
I am very pleased with the performance of this small panel. I paired it with a Brunton Solar Charger to maintain two 60 Ah 12 volt batteries and it keeps them charged up.
I have a 600 Watt Inverter I use to power lights, a small pump and other devices at our -off the grid- location. This panel keeps the batteries at a charged level.
Obviously this panel is too small to rapidly charge anything, but it is amazing how much it can deliver even in low light situations. Well constructed, worth every cent.
